Notable design changes include slimmer headlights integrated with a reshaped grille, a sculpted bumper reminiscent of other Mazda models, and squared-off wheel arches similar to those on the CX-50. Depending on the trim level, these wheel arches may match the body color or feature black finishes.
At the rear, the CX-5 displays crisp LED graphics in the lighting units, a redesigned tailgate with a recessed license plate area, and a dynamic bumper accompanied by a sporty diffuser. The tailpipes exhibit an aggressive design, with variations in finish and shape across different trims.
