Skoda is preparing to introduce a new flagship SUV, potentially named the Space, as part of its Modern Solid design initiative. Recently, spy photographers captured images of this heavily camouflaged vehicle undergoing testing in northern Sweden. Drawing inspiration from these spy shots and the Vision 7S Concept unveiled nearly two years ago, designers at Kolesa have created renderings envisioning the SUV’s appearance without camouflage.

The renderings showcase a front fascia reminiscent of the Vision 7S Concept, featuring a similar grille design. Traditional headlamps replace the concept’s Y-shaped lighting units, while the rear retains the distinctive taillight design. The vehicle includes flush-mounted door handles and traditional side mirrors instead of the concept’s camera-based system. A prominent rear spoiler and production-ready front and rear bumpers are also evident. The renderings depict the SUV in red with black accents, highlighting aero-optimized wheels observed on the test vehicle.

Skoda has indicated that the Space will measure approximately 4.9 meters (192.9 inches) in length, making it about 250 mm (9.8 inches) longer than the Enyaq. As an all-electric vehicle, the Space is expected to sit above the Enyaq in Skoda’s lineup and may share powertrain options, including rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations with dual motors.

Inside, the Space will offer three rows of seats, accommodating up to seven occupants. Reports suggest the inclusion of a large portrait-oriented touchscreen display in the dashboard, along with advanced technology and safety features. Skoda plans to release the Space in 2026, with more details anticipated as the launch date approaches.

As development progresses, additional prototypes are expected to be spotted, and further renderings will likely emerge, providing more insights into the design and features of Skoda’s upcoming flagship SUV.
