While much of the world paused to witness Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States and kept a close eye on Elon Musk’s latest moves, the automotive aftermarket industry carried on, as relentless as ever.

Politics aside, January 20, 2025—also Martin Luther King Jr. Day—was a historic moment. But no matter how unpredictable global events may be, certain things remain constant, especially in the American car scene. Take the Ford F-Series, for example—it has dominated the best-seller charts for decades. And just as reliably, the ultra-wealthy continue to seek ways to differentiate their luxury vehicles in an increasingly crowded market.

For those with deep pockets, standing out isn’t always about flashing the most extravagant ride—it’s about exclusivity. And that’s where the aftermarket industry steps in, offering customized solutions to those who want something truly unique. Case in point: the Ferrari Purosangue, a high-performance luxury SUV that some consider the true king of exotic crossovers, surpassing even the Lamborghini Urus SE and Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge Series II.

Born in Maranello under the internal designation Type F175, the Purosangue was unveiled in late 2022, featuring a sleek design, a V12 engine, and rear-hinged coach doors. However, despite its pedigree, it hasn’t dominated the customization scene like its rivals. Perhaps its shared platform with the Ferrari Roma and its hatchback-like profile make it a less obvious choice for some high-end buyers. But for those looking to stand apart from the sea of Urus and Cullinan owners, the Purosangue offers an opportunity to make a statement.

Enter Forgiato Designs, a renowned custom wheel manufacturer from Los Angeles, California, and Rim Source Motorsports, known for offering one of the largest selections of forged wheels in America. One bold owner decided to elevate his 2025 Ferrari Purosangue to the next level, outfitting it with massive three-piece, concave 24-inch Forgiato Cravatta ECL wheels. While the SUV’s black paint and matching wheels might suggest a fully “murdered-out” aesthetic, the classic Ferrari yellow logo remains untouched, while the red Forgiato branding perfectly complements the crimson brake calipers.

And if 24-inch wheels don’t seem extreme enough, Forgiato has even wilder options, including a range of 30-inch designs. Some of their latest jaw-dropping builds include a Tesla Cybertruck rolling on chrome 30s, a pristine white GMC Sierra Denali HD with matching-white oversized wheels, and a fleet of 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESVs sporting various 30-inch styles—finally achieving the perfect proportions for the massive SUV.

So, does the world stop spinning when politics make things unpredictable? Not in the aftermarket industry. No matter what’s happening on the global stage, car customizers continue pushing boundaries. Love it or hate it, the 715-horsepower V12-powered Ferrari Purosangue is now part of the custom car scene—proving that when it comes to making a statement, the possibilities are endless.
